The flowfield characteristics are experimentally studied in the inter-nozzle region of free jets from twin and triple supersonic nozzles. nozzle is designed for Mach number 2.0, spacing twice exit diameter. impact multiple on flow such as jet spread, core, shock wave structure explored using pitot pressure readings schlieren technique. For 2.0 at ratio (NPR) 2 8.5, pressures measured along centerline, jet's midplane, centroid jet. crosswire tab used a passive control tool two orientations to studying effect control.
